Watson just made humanity look like a bunch of dopes on Jeopardy last night, beating us by a mile in front of the world. But can Watson announce talk shows? Maybe so, but there’s one thing this IBM computer doesn’t have: opposable thumbs, with which to wield a baseball bat.
Thanks, Conan O’Brien, for providing this catharsis for those of us who suddenly feel like Homo sapiens just jumped the shark.
